Biographies are indexed by: Surname; Era; Region; and Engineering Theme.

Many interstate and overseas engineers have contributed to Western Australia's development. As it is not practical to include every engineer who has worked on a Western Australian project, the criterion adopted for inclusion was 'in the order of at least 5 years residence in Western Australia'.
