Engineers Australia, Western Australia Division (EAWA) 1919 to ----
Engineers Australia (EA) is the commonly used name for the Institution of Engineers, Australia. The Institution of Engineers, Australia is the national body that was established in 1919, incorporated in 1926 and granted a Royal Charter in 1938. The purpose of Engineers Australia is to advance the science and practice of engineering for the benefit of the community and to promote the interests of professional engineers, technologists and engineering associates. EA's website can be accessed at engineersaustralia.org.au.
As well as its national office in Canberra, EA has Divisions in every state and territory of Australia with two Divisions in New South Wales. EA's Divisions include a Western Australia Division (EAWA). EAWA has its office at 712 Murray Street, West Perth. EAWA's website can be accessed at engineersaustralia.org.au/About-Us/Divisions/Western-Australia.
A paper titled 'A History of the Institution in Western Australia' presented by Ken J. Kelsall, BE(Hons), HonFIEAust, as his retiring Chairman's address on 31 March 1977 is available here.

Original copies of EAWA committee minutes and other key documents are archived with the State Library of Western Australia (SLWA). A full listing of the SLWA material is provided by Manuscript Note MN 1468. In December 2019 a microfilm version of some of these documents was converted to digital and downloads are available from the SLWA Website at ACC 4649AD. Note that the majority of these files are quite large. An index to the documents that are included in the 18 digital .pdf files is below:
